HOPE School has two main sites for library service-a Primary Library, serving students in Preschool to Year 5 and our HUB Learning Center at the HOPE North campus, serving students in Years 6 through 12.
Both sites contain inviting spaces where students can throw down a cushion, read, study and collaborate together. We have a growing collection of non-fiction books, graphic novels, biographies, picture books, beginning readers, chapter-books, children’s fiction, teen fiction, senior fiction, Korean books, DVDs and Christian living books. We also have a selection of interactive books on the ipads that students are enjoying.
HOPE School's Librarian is available to help recommend books or help direct students with their research, using either print materials or online resources. The Librarian is scheduled as follows:
Hours of Operation
We would like to encourage parents to visit the library and assist their children in choosing books. Each family is entitled to borrow 10 books for a period of two weeks in addition to the amount allocated to each student.
Click here to access HOPE School eLibrary and you will find a collection of subject specific web-resources, online encyclopedia's, search engines, ebooks, audio books online and the HOPE School Library Catalogue.
Encyclopedia Britannica Online can be accessed from the home page on the tab ‘Encyclopedias and Reference’. (The username and password can be collected from the library office or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org)
The Library Catalogue can be searched from anywhere from within the school premises and can be found at the top right hand side of the HOPE School eLibrary. This enables searches for books and resources contained within our library.
